ALMAGUIN HIGHLANDS, Ont. – Authorities are searching for a seven-year-old boy who fell into a river in the community of Burk’s Falls.
Provincial police say the boy had been playing on the shore of the Magnetawan River with some other children on Sunday when he ended up going too far into the water and got swept away by the current.
Corbin South is described as being about four feet tall and about 50 pounds with short blond hair and blue eyes.
Members from several emergency services, including an underwater search and recovery unit, are involved in the search.
