Prince Edward scheduled to visit Saskatchewan in September
REGINA – A Prince will be making four stops in Saskatchewan during a royal tour in September.
Premier Brad Wall announced on Wednesday that Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex will be visiting Saskatchewan for the fifth time from September 17 to 19.
“On behalf of the people of Saskatchewan, we are pleased to welcome His Royal Highness back to our great province,” Wall said. “I encourage all citizens to take advantage of this unique opportunity to engage with a member of Canada’s Royal Family.”
The Earl first toured Saskatchewan in 1978 with his parents, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, followed by solo trips to Canada in 1994, 2003 and 2006.
While in Saskatchewan, The Earl is scheduled to stop in Moose Jaw, Regina, Saskatoon and Swift Current.
