CALGARY – RCMP has still been unable to locate a missing 21-year-old woman from the Siksika First Nation who went missing last Saturday.

Desiree Oldwoman was last seen on August 27th around 8:20p.m. inside her home. It’s believed she wandered away. Desiree is autistic and unable to speak or care for herself.

RCMP have used aircrafts, quads, dogs and ground searches to try and locate Desiree. There has been no sign of her.

Investigators say she may have been walking on Highway #901 where a passing driver could have picked her up and brought her to another location.

She was wearing a brown sweater and black pants with a red stripe the day she disappeared. She is 5’4″ and weighs approximately 165 lbs with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Desiree is asked to call police immediately.
