MONTREAL – Quebec’s casinos have reached a tentative agreement in their labour dispute with Loto-Quebec.
Employees at the Montreal casino and the Lac-Leamy casino in Gatineau have signed an agreement in principle with Loto-Quebec.
They haven’t had a contract since March of 2013.
Montreal croupiers staged a one-day strike in early July to protest stalled contract negotiations for the 1,100 employees.
Details of the new contract won’t be made public until they’ve been presented to their members for approval.
