5-year-old injured during quad rollover in east Edmonton

EDMONTON – Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in a quad rollover that left a five-year-old girl injured late Thursday evening.

Officers responded to a call just after 10:30 p.m. in the area of Grand Meadows Crescent and 62 Street, south of the Mill Woods golf course.

A young girl was reportedly found bleeding; the man with her was also injured.

A rolled quad was discovered further down the road.

Both were treated and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It’s not known at this point whether the two were wearing helmets.

The investigation into the incident continues.
