PENTICTON — A large forest fire has broken out near Apex Resort in Penticton.
The fire started Tuesday afternoon and has grown to 20 hectares.
The nearest structure is about 1 kilometre from the blaze.
The flames are highly visible with some trees candling.
An army of forestry fire fighters is battling the blaze on the ground along with several aircraft.
