MONTREAL – A 41-year-old motorcyclist has been killed after colliding with a truck in downtown Montreal.
The accident took place on Doctor Penfield Avenue, near Pine Avenue.
A large truck was turning left into an entrance on Doctor-Penfield, when it was hit by a motorcyclist who was trying to pass.
Raphaël Bergeron, a spokesperson for the Montreal police, said that the motorcyclist was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The driver of the truck was treated for shock.
