Seniors who fracture a bone are at greater risk of having another fracture, but most aren’t being screened for osteoporosis. A new program at Dartmouth General Hospital is trying to change that. At 6:45, we’ll talk to Fracture Navigator Carla Purcell.

At 7:15, we’ll have a conversation about lung cancer and the work being done by the Lung Association of Nova Scotia to help people suffering from the disease. The organization says people impacted by lung cancer are under served in the province. We’ll find out why, and how they hope to change that.

The conversations with some of the great jazz musicians in town for the TD Halifax Jazz Festival continue today with Julian Priester and J. Anthony Granelli.  They’ll be at the red table at 7:45.
