CALGARY- A woman was rushed to hospital with critical injuries on Sunday morning, after falling into a fire pit.
Emergency crews were called to an area near Highway 805 and Highway 587 north of Torrington, Alberta just before 5 a.m., and found the badly-injured woman. STARS was called to airlift her to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary.

The 53-year-old victim suffered severe burns to nearly her entire body, and is listed in life-threatening condition.
Crews from Linden and Three Hills also responded.
