Police investigate double stabbing outside Vancouver nightclub

Vancouver police are investigating a double stabbing outside a downtown nightclub.

Officers are searching for forensic evidence outside the Privé nightclub at the Plaza of Nations. They were called there shortly after 3 a.m. after receiving reports of a huge brawl.

Two male victims were taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are now interviewing a number of people, and reviewing surveillance video from the scene but are not saying what may have sparked the fight, or whether two people taken into custody at the scene are suspects.

Anyone with information about the stabbing are asked to call the Vancouver Police Department Major Crime Section or Crime Stoppers.
