REGINA – Regina’s been swamped by rain lately but when it finally clears, there’s likely to be another reason to complain.
Pest control manager Ray Morgan says over the next several days a lot of mosquitoes are going to descend on the city.
They’re seeing lots of larvae in standing water around the city and those will inevitably emerge into full-blown skeeters.
Although the numbers are expected to be higher this summer, Morgan says Regina is still under the ten-year average for mosquito populations.
Mosquito population expected to rise in Regina over the next few days.
