REGINA – Four youths are facing weapon-related charges after pepper spray incident in downtown Regina Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. police on patrol near 12th Avenue and Broad Street saw a group of youths running away from another group of youths and both groups were yelling at each other.
One male in one of the groups appeared to have been pepper sprayed. One of the males with the victim produced a knife and began chasing the other group.
Police intervened and arrested and charged four of the youths involved.
The names of those charged cannot be released because of their age. All four are facing weapon related charges and made their first court appearance on Monday morning.
