WINNIPEG-Heavy rainfall in the Parkland region is raising concerns about water levels.
The Province issued a Flood Watch for Dauphin Lake Sunday. With average weather conditions, water levels are forecast to rise one foot. With unfavourable weather the water could rise by three feet.
Recent heavy rain and future weather conditions could result in a wind-eliminated peak of 858 to 859 fasl, Provincial officials said. Flood stage for Dauphin Lake is 858 fasl.
Property owners along the shoreline are being encouraged to secure or remove valuables.
