A social media success story played out on the Global Regina Facebook page.
“It just goes to show you the internet’s not so bad after all,” said local mom, Kristina Hallwas.
She wrote a message in front of her central Regina home after discovering her two year old son’s wagon was missing from their yard.
She wrote, “May whoever borrowed our wagon please return it? Thank you.”
We posted the photo on our Facebook page Saturday and it was shared, liked and commented on hundreds of times.
Then on Tuesday, a big-hearted Facebook user gave Hallwas a used wagon.
“When it comes to your kids, it matters a little bit more,” said Hallwas. “If it was one of my belongings I don’t think it would’ve been such a big deal, but because it was Asher’s I think that hits home for a lot of people. So, we’re just very fortunate.”
She’ll keep the new wagon in a secret spot so its not stolen again.
