Calgary property taxes in the mail
CALGARY- It’s just about time for Calgary homeowners to pull out their cheque books.
The city has sent out tax bills for about 460,000 homes around Calgary, as well as commercial and industrial sites. That means everyone should receive their property tax bill by next week.
Those who don’t receive it soon is asked to contact 311.
Property taxes are due on Friday, June 30, and a 7 per cent penalty is applied to late payments. The deadline is not in effect for those who pay through the monthly TIPP program.
