Pat Sajak mocked for climate change tweet
ABOVE: What did Pat Sajack tweet that has climate change activists so riled up?
TORONTO — Game show host Pat Sajak sparked a social media meltdown this week when he weighed in on climate change.
“I now believe global warming alarmists are unpatriotic racists knowingly misleading for their own ends,” the 67-year-old Wheel of Fortune host tweeted. “Good night.”

Reaction on Twitter was swift, damning — and occasionally clever.
Pat Sajak works with words for a living but doesn’t seem to know what they mean.

Will the 8 year old kid who hacked @PatSajak‘s account please return it to its rightful owner?

If Pat Sajak was replaced by a hologram, would anyone be able to tell?

@patsajak Believing in tooth fairy= good, knowing global warming is real=bad? Got it. Now we know how the rest of the non-believers think.

You might be a racist if you have a Ph.D in Earth Science & spend a lot of time worrying about glaciers -from Pat Sajak’s new comedy album

Hate to say this, but because of Pat Sajak’s awful remarks, I will no longer look to game show hosts for moral guidance. — Frank Conniff (@FrankConniff) May 21, 2014
.@patsajak Experts from military, health, & insurance agree with overwhelming majority of scientists. Are they also unpatriotic racists? :(

Sajak seemed to be enjoying the furor. Tuesday, he followed up with: “Sometimes it’s fun to poke a stick in a hornets’ nest just to hear the buzzing.”

Only a few days earlier, Sajak took another jab at climate change.
Very hot weather: “We’re all going to die!” Very cold weather: “There’s a difference between climate & weather, moron!”
