Prince Charles says the birth of his grandson George has brought the future well-being of the planet into sharper focus for him.
The Prince received an honorary Symons (SIMONS) Medal Tuesday in Charlottetown for his contribution to Canadian society.

Charles listed a number of challenges facing the world from the widening gap between rich and poor to climate change.
He said it’s the world’s grandchildren who will live with the consequences if there isn’t change.

Charles and wife Camilla have several stops in Charlottetown today as part of their four-day visit to Canada.
