SASKATOON – Two people are dead and at least three injured after a crash during the noon hour in Saskatoon.
First responders were called to the intersection of Highway 16 and Marquis Drive just after 12 p.m. for a two vehicle collision.
Police say an eastbound vehicle on Highway 16 struck a southbound vehicle on Marquis Drive that had entered the intersection.
Firefighters arrived to find four people outside one vehicle and one person still inside the second vehicle.
Two men were killed in the crash.
Police say three people have been taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
No names have been released.
Saskatoon police are investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
