TORONTO – Ontario’s New Democrats launch a new party website today which was built with the help of an American company.
Los Angeles-based software developer NationBuilder created the interactive site which now forms the centre of the NDP’s new digital platform.
The website is integrated with the party’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts and also acts as a database that will help the NDP track supporters, donors and volunteers.

Party officials say its new digital campaign model is built on the successful online organizing of Barack Obama’s election campaigns in the U.S.
NDP communications director Jen Hassum says the party hopes the new platform will link social media engagement to ground level field organization to ultimately help get the vote out on election day.
She says this is the party’s most “data driven” election campaign.
