CALGARY- A serious collision north of Calgary sent two people to hospital on Friday afternoon.
EMS say that just 4:30 p.m., two pickup trucks crashed in the intersection of Hwy 580 and RR 24, which is near Carstairs.
A man in his early 60s had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency crews, and was flown to Foothills Hospital in serious condition. The other driver, a man in his 30s, was driven to hospital in stable condition.

There were no passengers in either of the vehicles.
So far there is no word what led to the crash.
