We’ll start off our Tuesday show with a visit from Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Executive director Gloria Gardiner. She’ll stop by the red table at 6:45 to talk with Crystal about Wednesday’s 6th annual Women & Wellness fundraising event at the Westin Hotel. The event will not only promote the importance of maintaining good mental health for women, it will also feature a talk from a certified Laughter Yoga leader.

At 7:15 Paul talks with Juno award-winning singer songwriter Meaghan Smith. Originally from Halifax, Smith is promoting a new album called” Have a Heart” set to be released Tuesday morning. It’s a brand new sound for Smith, and Paul will find out why she’s making the move toward pop music.

Been searching for a specific tool to finish that DIY project at home? Can’t afford to buy the big bulky saw for one small fix? Well a new resource might have the answer for you..or actually a tool for you. At 7:45 Crystal will talk with the folks with the brand new Halifax Tool Library.

Our regular “Foodie Tuesday” segment at 8:15 will feature a chowder cook-off thanks to the folks at “Taste of Nova Scotia”. We’ll sample a few of the scrumptious chowders that will be featured at the cutting edge chowder cook-off this weekend.

At 8:45 Halifax Mayor Mike Savage drops by the red table to talk with Crystal and Paul about Halifax’s new “Bold” branding approach. The new city logo was unveiled last week to mixed reviews. We’ll find out more about the new direction for the city and how he’s responding to the critics.
