Spring is in the air, and the team on The Morning News..is ready to get back outside. On Thursday’s show we’ll have a little bit of everything you’ll need to leap back into Spring!

We’ll get some more tips on maintaining health teeth as Oral Health Month continues. At 645 Dr. Michael Creighan from Saint Mary’s University Sports Dentistry department will be by to talk with Paul Brothers about the importance of mouth guards, especially for young people playing rough sports like hockey.

And April is also spring cleaning month for many, and the same is true for biologists. The folks with Nova Scotia’s Salmon Association are kicking off another Adopt a Stream campaign this week and at 7:15 Paul Brothers will talk with a lead biologist on the project.

We all know how the Titanic’s maiden voyage ended, but our fascination with the story remains strong, especially here on the east coast. At 7:15 Crystal Garrett will talk with a filmmaker who will be premiering a new documentary this weekend that looks at the impacts of that disaster on our region.

At 8:15 fabulous floral designer Susan MacIntosh joins us in studio for a special Easter edition of Stems with Susan. She’ll show us how to create a festive arrangement to liven up your home over the holidays. Hippity hoppity Easter’s on its way!
