KELOWNA– Kelowna RCMP are trying to figure out what lead to a bizarre single vehicle crash late Tuesday night that saw a car leave the highway and end up in city park.
It was just before 10 pm when the call came in.

First responders initially had trouble locating the vehicle that had been travelling southbound on Highway 97 but ended up careening across two lanes of traffic, flipping over a chain link fence and coming to rest against a tree in city park.
Four people were in the vehicle, none appeared to be injured.
No other vehicles were involved.
