Witnesses wanted to collision that sent 100-year-old Victoria woman to hospital

Victoria Police are hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed a crash that seriously injured a 100-year old woman on Monday.

The elderly woman was using a red walker with a black basket to cross the Save-On-Foods parking lot at Fort and Foul Bay Road, when she was hit by a late-model tan four-door sedan.

It happened at about 3:30 p.m.

The woman was seriously hurt and is recovering in hospital.

The driver of the car stayed on scene, but police are hoping to get some more information about what happened.
