WINNIPEG – Extensive fog across parts of southern Manitoba prompted a weather warning from Environment Canada on Wednesday morning.
Visibility of near or less than 400 metres was reported in Winnipeg, Brandon, east to the Ontario border and north into the Interlake. The warning was lifted at 10:25 a.m.

Melting snow, night cooling and light winds were blamed for the fog.
