Police are looking for witnesses after a 30-year-old man was hospitalized following a shooting in Surrey this morning.
The man remains in the hospital and is in stable condition.
RCMP officers were called out just before 7 a.m. after reports of multiple shots being fired outside a home at 134A Street and 81st Avenue. Witnesses reported seeing a brown van and black pickup truck leaving the scene after the shooting. One vehicle may have a broken window.
Police say the victim is well-known to them and believe the shooting was targeted. The motive for the shooting is currently unknown.
Police are investigating and asking anyone with information about this shooting to contact the Surrey RCMP.
