Edmonton police locate vehicle suspected in hit and run

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has found a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit and run Thursday morning.

The blue Subaru was located at 138 Street and 155 Avenue Thursday afternoon after police received a tip from a citizen.

The vehicle has been seized for forensic testing.

Police say a blue Subaru struck a parked vehicle on 105 St., between Jasper Ave. and 100 Ave. A pedestrian who was standing beside the parked vehicle was injured when he was pinned between that parked car and a second vehicle parked on the road.

The 30-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Subaru left the scene after the collision.

Police continue to search for the driver.
