Crime Stoppers needs help solving murder of young man in Kelowna

Crime Stoppers needs your help solving the murder of a 20-year-old man who was killed in Kelowna in the fall of 2009.

Christopher Daniel Hetu had just moved to Kelowna from Prince George when he was shot in Millbridge Park at around 1 a.m. on Oct. 27, 2009, according to investigators.

Nearby residents heard four to five shots being fired that night, and a gun was found in plain view on the grass near Hetu’s body.

The unemployed construction worker was well-known to Prince George RCMP, but the exact circumstances surrounding Hetu’s murder remain a mystery and there are few clues in the case.

Hetu’s family is still looking for answers. If you have any information on this case call police of Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
