Holiday entertaining cocktails from Joe Fortes

The PT Floyd

  • 1.5 oz Bulleit Bourbon
  • .5 oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liquor
  • 1 half wheel Fresh orange 
  • Dash of Orange bitters
  • 1.5 oz Pineapple juice
  • 1 Maraschino cherry

In a mixing glass, muddle fresh orange slice and dash of bitters. Add ice, bourbon, ginger liquor and pineapple juice. Lightly shake to blend all ingredients and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Add maraschino cherry as a garnish.

French 75

  • .5 oz Bombay Gin
  •  2 wedges Fresh lemon
  • Dash of Syrup
  • 4 oz Champagne

In a mixing glass, add bombay, simple syrup and squeeze in 2 wedges of lemon over ice.  Lightly shake and strain into a champagne flute.  Top with champagne.  Garnish with a lemon twist.

Emerald Sky

  • 1.5 oz lemongrass Vodka
  • .5 oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liquor
  • 1 wedge of Fresh Lime
  • 2 slices of cucumber
  • Dash of Syrup
  • 1.5 oz of Be AloeVera coconut water

In a mixing glass, squeeze 1 wedge of fresh lime and muddle 2 slices of cucumber.  Add lemongrass vodka, ginger liquor, simple syrup and aloevera coconut water over ice.  Shake and strain into a martini glass rimmed with raw sugar.  Ensure to filter out cucumber while straining.
