ABOVE: Mayor Rob Ford says he didn’t know men in photograph were Hells Angels members.
TORONTO – Rob Ford didn’t know he was taking a photo with members of the infamous Hells Angels Motorcycle Club on Sunday, he says.
“I took probably … close to 1,000 pictures before the game, during the game, at halftime, up in the box that they put me in, after the game. How am I supposed to know who’s who?” he said at a press conference Tuesday.
The photo was taken at the Rogers Centre during the Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons football game but didn’t make headlines until Tuesday when it was found posted on the Hells Angels Toronto website. It has since been removed.

Ford has defended himself against controversial photos in the past by saying he doesn’t “ask for resumes” before agreeing to be in a photo.
“I don’t check for people’s credentials and ask for resumes before I take a picture. I take pictures with every single person that wants to take a picture with me,” he said Tuesday.
He used the same defence when a photo of him posing with murder victim Anthony Smith and two men arrested in the Project Traveller raids was released in May by Gawker and the Toronto Star along with reports reporters’ had seen a video of the mayor smoking what might be crack cocaine.
