Queen Elizabeth Park attractions proposal
Description
Should Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Park have a zipline attraction? is a tree canopy walk appropriate for the region? Those are two of the key features being proposed for a new program at the park that goes before the Vancouver Park Board tomorrow. For supporters, it aligns with the park board's agenda to increase commercial ventures. But for opponents, it flies in the face of supporting green space and wildlife in the city. Grace Ke reports.
