Vice-president of Cancer Systems and Innovation at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer Erika Nicholson said Monday that self-testing can help towards Canada’s goal to eliminating cervical cancer by 2040. But as more provinces transition to HPV testing, she said processes will need to be in place to ensure Canadians receive the best test possible and the best follow-up care.
