Liberals blast Conservatives for wanting to cut social programs, roll back pensions

Speaking during question period on Wednesday, House of Commons leader Karina Gould, Treasury Board President Anita Anand and Housing Minister Sean Fraser criticized Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and his party for wanting to cut social programs such as childcare and rolling back pensions. “What Canadians need right now is a government that’s there for them,” Gould said.
