Ukraine’s government says one of the factors affecting the speed of its counteroffensive is the density of landmines across its enormous front line. By some estimates, it could take years – or even decades – to remove all the landmines in the country. In the meantime, Ukrainians are getting creative in their efforts to demine the country.
