‘Life or death’: LGBTQ2 people warn education policy changes on pronouns, names pose dangers

The debate continues over recent changes by some provinces’ policy changes in schools requiring students seek parental consent if someone under 16 wants to go by another name or different pronouns. Sean Previl reports on what the LGBTQ2 community had to say and why it’s not about opposing parental rights, but giving them a safe environment to explore their identity without facing possible opposition at home.
