Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday he is “relieved” to hear that wildfires in the Northwest Territories “may be coming under control” and that critical infrastructure in the region remains intact. The prime minister also thanked firefighters across the country for their efforts, as well as Canadians who have taken in evacuees.
