A state of emergency has been declared in Kelowna, B.C., over a small wildfire near the city exploding in size, putting thousands of people under evacuation orders and alerts. Farah Nasser explains how the situation spiralled out of control so quickly, and speaks with West Kelowna Fire and Rescue Chief Jason Brolund about the long night for emergency crews battling flames.
