The YES Shelter for Youth and Families’ RISE Youth Housing program supports youth with skills to transition from homelessness and living in a shelter toward living on their own and finishing school.
On Monday, the program received $50,000 from the Rotary Club of Peterborough and the Rotary Club of Peterborough-Kawartha to expand the program with three new permanent spaces.
Tricia Mason spoke with executive director Aimee Le Lagadec to find out more about how the program works and what it offers.
