Ontario Premier Doug Ford held a press conference alongside housing minister Steve Clark on Wednesday following a scathing report from auditor general Bonnie Lysyk regarding the government’s “biased” Greenbelt land swaps and development plans. Though Ford and Clark claimed they will “implement 14” of 15 recommendations from Lysyk, they doubled down on their housing plans — suggesting it is a larger priority to Ontarians than the Greenbelt program.
