Poland says Wagner Group will destabilize NATO’s eastern flank, accuses Kremlin of hybrid attacks

Fighters from Russia’s private Wagner mercenary force are being moved close to NATO’s eastern flank to destabilize the military alliance, Poland’s prime minister said on Thursday. “We have to be aware that the number of these provocations will increase,” Mateusz Morawiecki said. Separately, Poland’s defence minister accused hybrid attacks from Belarus on Polish territory of being coordinated in the Kremlin, after visiting areas close to the Belarusian border.
