Manitoba announces new critical minerals strategy to enhance province’s resource development sector

Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson said on Tuesday the province is seeing levels of investment in lithium, copper and zinc that “haven’t been seen in Manitoba for 50 years.” Stefanson added that the strategy is focused on reconciliation, regarding partnership with Indigenous communities, while remaining eco-friendly and setting Manitoba up for the future.
