Fire damages Emily Park Road home in Kawartha Lakes

No injuries were reported following a house fire on Emily Park Road in the City of Kawartha Lakes on Sunday night.
Crews responded around 8:10 p.m. to the fire which officials say began in the garage and spread.
Three people were home at the time and got out safely.
Kawartha Lakes Fire and Rescue chief Terry Jones say the cause of the fire is an e-bike battery which was charging at the time.
