An up-and-coming health care app is lifting off as it helps connect patients with doctors in quicker, more accessible ways, providing home visits or consultations either over the phone, or via video call. “Medworks” gives patients access to a wide scope of specialists right off the bat, as opposed to just a family doctor, who would need to give a referral. This includes dieticians, paramedics, dermatologists and beyond. Katherine Ward reports.
