A section of road in Peterborough’s north end was closed briefly overnight following a collision.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Water Street between Marina Boulevard and Carnegie Avenue around 1:20 am to find a vehicle that had struck a concrete light pole.
The pole ended up across the roadway, making it impassable to drivers.
Injuries to the driver are believed to be minor.
Peterborough Police are investigating.
