Job action shuts down B.C. ports and terminals
Description
July 1, 2023
It's one of the worst hits to the Canadian economy. Ports and terminals on the west coast are now shut down as thousands of cargo loaders went on strike today, trying to put more pressure on their employer for a better contract. As Travis Prasad reports, the job action comes as both sides are still said to be at the negotiating table.
