New housing supply act expected to tackle housing crisis
Description
June 16, 2023
The lack of affordable housing in Kelowna has been front and centre for years and tonight a little bit of relief as 68 new units officially become available for occupancy. But it is far from what's needed to really tackle the current housing crisis. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, BC's housing minister, who was in the Okanagan today, is hoping a new piece of legislation is what will make the difference.
