A wildfire inching closer to the town of Edson, Alta., west of Edmonton, has exploded in size, growing 55 per cent in just 24 hours. Residents have had to flee their homes for the second time in a month. Approximately one-third of the 75 wildfires in Alberta are out of control and more than 11,000 people across the province are now displaced. Erica Vella reports.
