The Pride community and protesters converged on the Taber Public Library over the weekend disputing an event where a drag queen read stories to an audience that included children. While both sides say the gathering stayed respectful, as Erik Bay explains, advocates say this type of pushback is nothing new for Pride organizations in southern Alberta.
