Efficiency Manitoba CEO Colleen Kuruluk said on Monday that residents can cool their homes by closing blinds and keeping out sunlight and opening windows at night if the temperature is low. Kuruluk also recommends good insulation to keep the cold air from air conditioning from escaping.
