Damage from Cyclone Mocha is still being assessed in Bangladesh where cleanup efforts are now underway, but officials say about 2,000 homes had been destroyed and 10,000 others were damaged on Saint Martin’s Island and Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar district. No deaths were reported in Bangladesh, but at least six people were killed and hundreds more were injured after Cyclone Mocha made landfall in Myanmar.
